Launched as a video storytelling project in 2022, Columbiapedia captures the real voices of Columbia — from lifelong residents and local legends to fresh new faces making an impact in the city. Through these stories, we’re building a living encyclopedia of Columbia’s past, present, and future — one authentic moment at a time.

Our annual spelling bee with a twist! This isn't your average competition — the Columbiapedia Spelldown celebrates Columbia’s unique history, neighborhoods, and culture through carefully crafted word challenges. From nonprofits to community groups to local leaders, participants go head-to-head to see who truly knows how to spell Columbia-style.
